Job Summary


Manages program protection function/systems/technologies IAW applicable security requirements and contract requirements. Identifies and mitigates supply chain risks/threats to the E-6B mission.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure success of program against supply system risks, with focus on achieving aircraft availability, readiness and fleet OPTEMPO goals.

  2. Develop, maintain and execute a system security and associated plans IAW DFARS 252.204.7012 an NIST references.

  3. Support, maintain and monitor unclassified information system(s)/network(s) containing program information.

  4. Ensure Subcontractor/supplier/vendor compliance with the system security plan.

  5. Ensure program compliance with cyber, supply chain, risk management, software assurance and counterfeit protection plans.

  6. Develop and implement countermeasures for domains including physical security, personnel security, telecom and network security, applications/systems development, cryptography, security architectures, operational security, network and IT access control, supply chain and supply chain data.

  7. Develop, maintain and execute a comprehensive Program Protection Implementation Plan (PPIP)

  8. Support the customer in developing and managing a Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) program and a Supply Chain Critical Components List (SCCCL).

  9. Continually monitor multiple sources for possible supply chain vulnerabilities and develop and support mitigation strategies.

  10. Report security loss, compromises, spillages IAW applicable government regulations and directives.

  11. Develop required documentation in support of customer technical and programmatic reviews.

Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Cyber Security or Supply Chain Risk Management and 4 years related experience

  • Familiar with the Naval Aviation Asymmetric Threat Assessment process and program risk analysis

  • Experience in operations analysis, threat assessment, adversary threat model design, modeling and simulation, and system architecture design

  • Experience in defense logistics, defense suppliers, weapons development or defense contracting

  • Experience in industrial control systems / supervisory control and data acquisition (ICS / SCADA), cyber physical systems, operational technology, weapons platforms, embedded systems, avionics, mechanical and electrical systems, automotive control systems

  • Active U.S. DoD Secret Clearance with ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with DFARS Subpart 246.870; DFARS 252.204-7008, 252.204.7009, 252.204-7012, 252.211.7003, 252.211-7007, 252.211-7008, 252.213-7000, 252.239-7018, 252.244-7001, 252.246-7007, 252.246-7008, and 252.251-7000; DoDI 5200.44; DoDD 5205.02E; DoDM 5200.01 (Volumes 1 – 4) and 5220.22M; and SECNAVINST 5510.36

  • Experience developing and maintaining system security plans and program protection plan for a large, distributed, critical DoD supply chain function.

  • Successful track record of managing to performance, cost and schedule goals

  • Active U.S. DoD Top Secret clearance
