Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a transportation Senior Project Manager in Atlanta, Georgia. Responsible for the design and delivery of transportation projects and client relationships and communication with stakeholders, local governments and other consultants.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and 8 plus years of related project management experience

  • Experience with design and delivery of transportation projects

  • Ability to scope and identify risks associated with transportation projects, including collecting and analyzing data in the early stages of a project

  • Proficient in standard office software, such as word processing, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint

  • Familiarity with MicroStation, Microsoft Access a plus

Preferred Qualifications

  • 20+ year experience working with the Georgia DOT

  • Knowledge of GDOT Plan Development Process (PDP)

  • Familiarity with transportation project scheduling, P6 experience a plus

  • Project management experience a plus

  • Familiarity with GDOT procurement process

  • Ability to lead effective meetings and presentations, both internal and external

  • Ability to develop strong relationships and establish effective, on-going communication with consultants, local governments, and other stakeholders.
