AECOM Peru has an immediate opening for a Deputy Program Manager(DPM) – Aeropuerto International Jorge Chavez (AIJCh) in Lima, Peru. The DPM will manage multiple functional areas of a program including procurement, contract management, design, construction, project controls, quality management, financial planning, risk management, operations and maintenance. The DPM will work with Program Manager will oversee the areas of PMC services and the connections between them.
Design management for enabling infrastructure and utilities projects associated with the AIJCh renovation and expansion program.
Procurement management and oversight of design-build packages through construction completion
Driving program outcomes delivering scope, schedule and budget for a complex and fast-paced program
Supports the Program Manager by effectively managing and delivering PMC services in the area or area(s) assigned.
Resolves issues of moderate financial impact, seeks guidance from Program Manager for issues of greater financial or business risk to the client.
Identifies and brings to the Program Manager potential areas to increase HNTB’s presence and revenue with the client as appropriate.
Builds and maintains positive relationships with clients at the comparable organization level, actively attending and building relationships within local and state industry organizations.
Identifies staffing needs for the delivery of services for their area(s), providing direction and oversight to staff, client staff and subcontractors.
Participates in the development of client service action plans and client project reviews.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline
10+ years experience in project management capacity on large infrastructure and/or airport design, engineering, construction project of significant scale.
Proven capacity to lead multiple engineering and technical functions on a large public works/ infrastructure project
15-20 years’ work experience in engineering/engineering related field, with at least 10 years in a prominent/leadership/management role.
Proven experience managing large public works and infrastructure program
Proven ability to manage complex, simultaneous actions and staff to accomplish short, mid, and long term goals.
Detail oriented with the ability to synthesize and extrapolate to develop strategic and operational goals.
Detailed oriented with strong organizational and communications skills
Superior communications, writing, editing, and reporting skills -- with the ability to target specific audiences
Experience is preparing proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and change orders.
Experience with commercial financial management systems/metrics
Adaptable to ever changing requirements
Fluent in English and Spanish
Master’s Degree from an accredited college/university in Engineering or related scientific field.
Professional Engineer registration
