Sellafield Limited has identified the need for project and programme management support under a collaborative partnership model, to deliver major projects across the Sellafield Decommissioning Programme. This is a high profile, nationally significant, multi billion pound project, this phase of which will run for the next 20 years. KBR is the Integration Partner responsible for the provision of project management and related services to integrate and delivery major projects.


Reporting to the Senior Quantity Surveyor responsible for estimating, cost control, cashflow and reporting on allocated Work Packages


· Preparation and maintenance of estimates, budgets, cost report and cashflows

· Review and comment on bids and contract award recommendation reports

· Estimating of value engineering options and lifecycle costs

· Analysing and reporting on Consultants and Contractors cost reports and cashflows

· Co-ordination with Package Managers, Consultants and Contractors

· Preparation of monthly and weekly reports


· BSc in related subject or equivalent experience

· MRICS or equivalent an advantage

· 5 years post graduate experience

· Sound knowledge of all engineering and commercial aspects of major civil and infrastructure projects including roads, bridges and utilities

· Experience in conceptual estimating, cost planning, expenditure profiling, cost reporting and cost forecasting

· Experienced user of MS Office, advanced MS Excel user and Primavera Contracts Manager

· Fluent English both written and spoken
