The Program Management/Construction Management (PM/CM) business line specializes in the management of design and construction of community infrastructure facilities for education, healthcare, national governments, sports and leisure, justice, cultural venues, and commercial needs. From concept through completion, we provide necessary technical and administrative services to help our clients meet their program objectives. Our professionals serve as an extension of our clients' staff, protecting their interests as our own, and often working within our clients' offices. As an industry leader in PM/CM, we oversee activities ranging from planning, coordination, scheduling and cost control, to design, construction and commissioning.
AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented experienced level Program Controls Analyst for immediate employment. This is a full-time position in San Bernardino, CA. The primary work site is a field office within the client’s facility.
The Program Controls Analyst must work well within a team environment, is independent, demonstrates problem-solving abilities, is detail-oriented and highly organized. The ideal candidate can multi-task, demonstrate effective interpersonal skills and flexibility, and takes ownership and initiative for assigned responsibilities.
Program Controls Analyst responsibilities include:
Supports the Program Management Team in planning, organizing and tracking of program tasks including data entry, verification of data integrity and reporting across all AECOM and Client platforms
Assists the Finance and Contract Manager with processing purchase orders, invoices, payments, procurements, contracts, and document control
Assists in development of program specific materials which may include content for reports, presentations and written information related to the program
Analyzes, maintains and disseminates large amounts of data to different audiences/departments
Supports maintenance and tracking of cost, invoice development, program schedules, EVM and reporting
Maintains document management systems and collaborative workspaces
Researches and analyzes system data to create valuable reports and actionable insights
Maintains financial database with program data, enters and processes purchase requisitions
Responds to internal and external program auditors
Compiles QA/QC and issues procurement documents, contracts, updated insurance certificates, and approval documents
Interfaces and works collaboratively with the client while adhering to client business and fiscal policies
Other activities as assigned

Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, Finance, Accounting or related field, along with a minimum of 7 years’ experience in Program Controls related duties
Strong interest in data processing and analytics
Experience in working with MS Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Experience with Primavera P6 and Oracle
Experience with Proliance or other database systems and a demonstrated understanding of database concepts
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Knowledge of California public contracting and procurement practices and policies
Experience preparing and issuing RFQ, RFP, contracts and other procurement documents
Understanding of alternative contract delivery methods including public bid, design-build, P3, lease- lease back, etc.
