Title:

Project Logistics Coordinator

Position Description/Job Responsibilities

This position provides general logistics support to the Logistics Manager or Project Logistics Lead and will perform the following essential functions:

  • Perform logistics activities in accordance with KBR logistics work methods; best practices; and specific logistics plan
  • Effectively coordinate and communicate with external material suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Perform logistics activities such as freight estimates; documentation review; coordinate and arrange all modes of transportation; interaction with 3rd party transportation providers; tracking of material; and data integrity in company owned systems
  • Create detailed reports such as freight spend and freight volumes
  • Assist in evaluation of bids for transportation services

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in business, transportation, logistics related degree, or equivalent in experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software programs
