Role and Responsibilities

KBR is looking for entry level Electrical Engineers with 0-5 years of relevant experience to join our team for an exciting opportunity supporting the readiness and sustainment of USAF major aircraft/weapons systems Common Avionics reverse engineering, prototyping and sustainment activities.

The Electrical Engineer will provide support to one or more areas of both aircraft and associated ground support equipment. In addition, the Electrical Engineer will work with subcontractors on reverse engineering sustainment and product development projects. This position will also support product improvement analyses of electrical wiring interconnect systems and reverse engineering of electrical and electro-mechanical components on fighter, bomber and cargo aircraft.

This work provides capabilities for system engineering and integration, risk management, technical assessment, acquisition program management, strategy development, organization and change management, interface with operations and logistics, business analysis, mission effectiveness, and test programs. Position will be located at or near Robins AFB, Georgia.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited Engineering School and 0- 5 years of relevant work experience

Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited Engineering School and 0-3 years of relevant work experience

Preferred Skills

Electrical Engineering experience directly related to USAF weapon systems and/or support equipment

Integrated circuit design, semiconductor design, CAD, reverse engineering, and test experience.

Strong analytical skills.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Additional Notes

This position will require some travel.
