The Electrical Engineer will provide customer support for an Army Lower Tier Project Office Air and Missile Defense program by applying knowledge of systems engineering methods and tools to assess and characterize radar and power generation system designs, technical products, and implementation processes. Candidate will evaluate system / operational needs to define performance requirements; assuring compatibility of physical, functional and program sub-systems / components; performing trade studies and analyses (e.g., affordability, safety, testability, systems integration, survivability, and vulnerability) to optimize performance. Candidate will support testing and analysis of sensor or power generation performance, integrated into overall air and missile defense systems. Candidate will attend Integrated Product Team meetings, review contractor deliverables, and provide analysis to government customer. Candidate must possess the ability to communicate and interact with the government customer on a routine basis.
Applicants should be goal oriented and experienced in effectively meeting development program milestones while providing solutions to a range of complex technical problems. Experience with testing system performance is highly desired.
B.S Degree in Engineering or Science related field with 12+ years of experience is required.
An active secret security clearance is required.
