We are currently seeking a motivated, career and customer service oriented Splunk Monitoring Engineer & Administrator to join our team in Springfield, VA to begin an exciting and challenging career with Unisys Federal Systems.

The Splunk Monitoring Engineer & Administrator will configure Splunk to monitor enterprise systems. This Candidate will also provide expert guidance on the best use of Splunk to internal project teams. 

Responsibilities shall include:

Configuration of Splunk dashboards and alerts for data center services including cloud based services

Configuration of Splunk ITSI to model applications

Communicate changes and outages to appropriate stakeholders.

Ensure efficiency and conformity in operation through effective communication with all staff

Participate in corporate continuous improvement initiatives to enhance client service, efficiency, and profitability


12 years of experience working in an Enterprise IT environment and a B.S. degree. Bachelor of Science (BS) can be substituted with an additional 4 years of related experience

Experience configuring Splunk monitoring solutions

Understanding of data center architecture and services

Understanding of AWS cloud services

Experience preparing technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends

Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently to team members and clients, verbally and in writing

Experience presenting technical solutions to various audiences
Splunk training and/or certification
Full BI required prior to start
