A key member of the Test Automation Department, this position will serve as the Product Supplier point of contact for material and services required to support various SAS test projects. This individual will:

  • Lead strategy for creation, management, and execution of the test product management strategy (MPS) across the spectrum of programs to ensure program performance from the front end of the business through contract closure.
  • Provide and/or assign comprehensive support for Gates 0-11 actions and ensure IPDP compliance for the programs and tailoring when applicable. Key activities typically include: financial management (i.e., EV, budgets, targets, working capital, material sales forecasts, etc.)
  • Lead integrated product team (IPT) to achieve BOM, SOW or Spec development.
  • Overall ownership of the test supplier management process (i.e., Risk/Opportunity Management Plan, performance, Small Business plan development and execution, metrics, international issues, develop/evaluate the MB/MW strategy, the Collaborative Agreement process, etc.), and communication of customer flow through requirements such as FAR/DFARS, ITAR, offset, public law, quality, warranty, etc.
  • Act as the Control Account Manager (CAM).

Required Skills:

  • 8+ years of related work experience with any combination of the following areas (Engineering, Finance, Manufacturing, Operations, Program Management, Supply Chain, Project Management or Subcontract Management)
  • Experience with engineering supplier management and supply chain processes
  • Experience leading or participating in cross-functional teams
  • US Citizenship is required
  • Up to 20% travel may be required.
