KBR is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join its talented team in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. KBR, headquartered in Houston, Texas, is the primary contractor to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) for performing work at the Earth Resources Observation and Science (EROS) Center ( http://eros.usgs.gov/ ) near Sioux Falls, SD ( http://www.siouxfalls.org at http://www.siouxfalls.org/ ).
Education : Education equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with an associate degree in office management, secretarial science or related field preferred. At least two (2) years of clerical and/or administrative assistant experience. Additional directly related experience may substitute for education at the rate of two years of experience equaling one year of education at the hiring manager’s discretion
Experience : Minimum of four (4) years directly related professional experience
This position provides administrative support to the Technical Support Services Contract (TSSC) under the direction of the KBR Lead Administrative Assistant. The incumbent will provide administrative support to the assigned staff on the TSSC contract. This position requires excellent communication skills and high level of confidentiality; applies basic fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures to current work. General office duties are completed with professionalism and tact.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
The candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a national agency check and background investigation after hire to obtain a badge for facility access and user accounts.
