Position Description/Job Responsibilities:

The duties and responsibilities include the administration, monitoring and tracking of major equipment, minor equipment and bulk materials per the terms and conditions of purchase order and maintain schedule.

  • Expediting of supplier data working and assisting engineering to ensure timely submittal and return of documents to maintain schedule.
  • Setting up and conducting meetings with project team and suppliers. Maintaining detailed files and records for each purchase order.
  • The updating and maintaining of the expediting status report, using the Integrated Project Management System (IPMS) and using Documentum to monitor and track the status of data and drawings.
  • Assisting construction on Overages, shortages, damaged, and quarantined equipment.
  • Assisting accounts payable confirming milestones have been met for payment.

Job Qualifications:

  • Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree and 5+ years of experience in EPC expediting, or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
  • Must have basic computer skills, knowledge and experience in the use of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Effective skills in communication; conduct regular scheduled meetings and conference calls with the project team and suppliers.
