Title:

Administrative Specialist II

The successful candidate will provide administrative or secretarial support to a department and/or Manager.

Under general supervision, works within a specialized function to complete tasks in accordance to procedure.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain the Synchronized Pre-Deployment and Operational Tracker (SPOT).
  • Work closely with HR Recruiting to ensure all new employees are appropriately cleared prior to starting work to include completion of a National Agency Check with Inquiries, or Secret Clearance as needed.
  • Validate the background utilizing the G2 system.
  • Coordinate new NAC-I backgrounds.
  • Coordinate with the Trusted Agent to issue and manage all Common Access Cards (CAC).
  • Will work with contracting officers to produce LOA’s (Letters of Authorization).
  • Coordinate appointments with military base.
  • Coordinate travel and necessary escorts with the Deployment Processing Center.
  • Maintain required training records.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Knowledge of required CENTCOM requirements.
  • Knowledge of SPOT (Synchronized Pre-deployment and Operational Tracker).
  • Excellent customer service skills (required).
  • Must pass pre-employment criminal background screenings.
  • Must possess a favorably adjudicated National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) or equivalent investigation.
  • Must have legible writing as well as general mathematical skills.
  • Previous ID card verification and issuance experience along with knowledge of the military (preferred).
  • Experience working with and creating databases.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • The skills acquired for this job are typically acquired through a high school diploma and 4+ years of experience.
