AECOM is actively seeking a highly talented Aviation Program Manager. The position will work in a matrix organization, with local transportation and operations staff, regional leadership, and national transportation business line executives to assist in the new Lima Airport Project.
Job function include but are not limited to the following:
Management of the PM and CM team in the Lima Project.
Proactively identifies potential program problems or opportunities, analyzes the issues using all appropriate resources, develops alternatives and arrives at the most optimum approach to mitigate problems or exploit opportunities.
Authority to act as a team leader responsible for ensuring that the final product of the project or program team reflects the original scope and budget requirements.
Provides strategic plan and delivery on key client and program success; has broad program management impact.
Prepares and delivers presentations on behalf and in support of the client’s program.
Serves as the single point of contact to the client and acts as a liaison between management and clients on advanced program-related issues.
Interacts with executive level government or public officials and/or executive level clients on significant program matters often requiring coordination between organizations.
Assesses and manages risk on behalf of the client.
Manages Aviation Programs of value in excess of $1 billion.
Manages landside, airside and terminal improvements on Major Hub Airports proven through past experience.
Manages Construction Projects as a Construction Manager/General Contractor proven through past experience.
Manages Aviation and Transit Programs as an Owners Representative through past experience.
Ability to travel for project involvement
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline
10+ years’ experience in project management capacity on large infrastructure and/or airport design, engineering, construction project of significant scale.
Proven capacity to lead multiple engineering and technical functions on a large public works/ infrastructure project
15-20 years’ work experience in engineering/engineering related field, with at least 10 years in a prominent/leadership/management role.
Proven experience managing large public works and infrastructure program
Proven ability to manage complex, simultaneous actions and staff to accomplish short, mid, and long-term goals.
Detail oriented with the ability to synthesize and extrapolate to develop strategic and operational goals.
Detailed oriented with strong organizational and communications skills
Superior communications, writing, editing, and reporting skills -- with the ability to target specific audiences
Experience is preparing proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and change orders.
Experience with commercial financial management systems/metrics
Adaptable to ever changing requirements
Fluent in English and Spanish
Master’s Degree from an accredited college/university in Engineering or related scientific field.
Professional Engineer registration
