Become an integral part of a diverse team in the Mission, Cyber and Intelligence Solutions (MCIS) Group.  ManTech is looking for a Deputy Program Manager to provide support for the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR). The candidate will support the Program Manager in the execution of EOIR’s operational strategy by providing support for daily operations as well as assist in the planning, engineering and execution of EOIR projects and initiatives.  The individual will work closely with the ManTech Program Manager and onsite leadership team to ensure timely and effective contract execution and work closely with the customer on recommending areas for improvement across all operational areas. 

The FSS Division provides cyber solutions to a wide range of Defense and Intelligence Community customers. This division consists of a team of technical leaders that deliver advanced technical solutions to government organizations.  Our customers have high standards, are technically adept, and use our products daily to support their mission of protecting national security.   • Support briefings, meetings and communicating recommendations and contract status verbally and in writing as required.
  • Perform oversight and management of all contractor activities.
  • Indirectly oversee a team of 100+ FTE’s to include,  Service Desk, Operations Security, Network, Field Support, Configuration Management, Tier II & 3, AV, Logistics, Business Analysis teams.
  • Develop short and long-term strategy maps, goals and objectives for each team and provide resources to assist in the execution of each.
  • Manage a wide range of IT technicians across many different areas of technology.
  • Serve as a Government’s point of contact for status, questions, and recommendations, and being accountable for all contractor activities, deliverable and results.
  • Prepare and present written communications, plans, reports, briefings and briefing materials.
  • Establish, document, and managing the scope, schedule, and resources for projects and sustaining activities.
  • Performing an integrated Program Management function to ensure effective cost, schedule, and technical requirements are achieved.
  • Identify and resolve problems and risks that could adversely impact performance, cost and/or delivery schedule.
  • Provide weekly and monthly status reports and metrics.
  • Address risks and issues within the IT environment.
  • Responsible for implementing staff retention activities and provide operational mentor-ship to less experience staff.
  • Identify risks, gather information, and recommend solutions as appropriate.

Security Clearance Requirement: US Citizenship and eligible to obtain DOJ Public Trust (must possess Public Trust prior to start)


  • Proven success in managing a large team of individuals with various degrees of experience.
  • BA with technology and/or project management focuses.
  • 10+ years of contract and contractor management.
  • Familiarity with DOJ processes and institutional challenges.
  • Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle.
