KBR is seeking to hire a senior Configuration Manager to perform contract requirements package development, maintenance, and reviews related to Engineering Technical Data Package documentation requirements. Candidate must be able to maintain existing databases for Reliability Availability and Maintainability (RAM) tracking and part obsolescence program related to US Army equipment. Candidate must be able to analyze and recommend alternate parts, materials, and processes and projected impact on redesign and procurement.
Candidate will be required to participate in US Army/Prime Contractor equipment logbook reviews, analyze hardware and software requirements documentation for compliance with contract performance and quality requirements, and review impact of proposed engineering changes.
Candidate will be required to participate in Program Design Reviews, Production Configuration Management Audits, Functional Configuration Audits, and Physical Configuration Audits.
The candidate must be able to interface with US Army customer personnel (military and civilian), prime contractors, and other support contractors in a team environment on a daily basis.
Special consideration will be given to candidates possessing the following background and technical expertise: Performance of RAM studies, Printed Wiring Board and Circuit Card Assembly circuit design and layout, mechanical and electrical tolerance analyses, production equipment and test set modeling and simulation, participation in DoD program design and verification reviews, electronic/microelectronics review and analysis for obsolescence forecasting.
Bachelor’s Degree with 10+ years’ experience in Electrical Engineering
Active Secret Security Clearance is required10% travel may be required
