SAIC is currently looking for candidates to join our OMDAC SWACA II team upon award. Team SAIC is pursuing the opportunity to provide operation, maintenance, and defense support of Title X communications equipment and information systems under the purview of the Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM), 160th Signal Brigade and its subordinate units in the Southwest Asia (SWA) Theater of operations. Positions are located in Afghanistan and Kuwait and include a range of qualifications.
The Maintenance Technicians will provide field and sustainment maintenance to all strategic communications systems under the command of the 160th Signal Brigade, its subordinate units and the SWA USARCC-SWA. They shall provide Equipment Improvement Recommendations (EIR) and Quality Deficiency Reports (QAR) in accordance with DA PAM 750-8. Provide Test, Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) repair and collaboration. The Contractor shall document the Standard Army Maintenance System (SAMS-E) data in accordance with AISM 25-L26-AHO-ZZZ-EM. Will provide routine, scheduled, emergency/HAZCON maintenance support on an area basis in accordance with AR 750-1, and as tasked by the COR. This includes annual maintenance to include technical assistance visits.
AS or equivalent experience
Minimum required experience is 3+ years of related experience; required minimum years is dependent on level
Certified Electronics Technician
Training as a US Army 94 series (94W, 94Y, 94Z) or as a 25 series (25C, 25L, 25S, 25U, 25W); ITIL
Depending on work site, a Secret clearance may be required.
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance is required.
