SAIC is looking for a Cyber Security Analyst to join an exciting program located in North Charleston, SC. 

  • This position will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting of Navy Computer Network Defense (CND) classified and unclassified systems.
  • Configure, deploy, and maintain Host Base Security System (HBSS) also known as McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO).
  • Configure, deploy, and maintain Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) also known as Tenable Nessus.
  • Configure, deploy, and maintain VMWare ESXi Server 3.5 and 5.x.
  • Configure, deploy, and maintain Windows 7, Windows Server 2003, 2008 R2, and 2012.
  • Configuring group policies.
  • Provide onsite technical assists in support of CND fielded systems for issues that cannot be resolved via distance support.
  • Management tasking includes but is not limited to troubleshooting, metrics collection, maintenance support, and the timely entry of communication and tasking into the ticket management tool (Remedy).
  • Travel: Anticipated travel is up to 25%.  Candidate must have or be able to obtain a U.S. passport.


  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years’ experience or Master's degree and 9 years of related experience. Additional experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
  • Active Secret Clearance and have eligibility for a Top Secret Clearance. Higher clearances accepted.
  • Experience with ACAS/Nessus Scanner/Retina Experience with Host Base Security System (HBSS) also known as McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO)
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft operating systems and networking to include Windows Server and SQL
  • 3 years minimum IT experience to include three (3) of the following (6) areas:
    • Software Requirements
    • Operational Requirements
    • Installation
    • Test and Evaluation
    • Advanced system Architecture
    • Training
  • Demonstrated experience in at least two (2) of the following areas:
    • Ability to plan and organize work and interact with technical and non-technical personnel translating user requirements into responsive applications.
    • Demonstrated detailed knowledge of IA concepts and requirements.
    • Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of DOD military specifications and standards.
    • System design integration planning for multiple large-scale installations.
    • Hardware and software Evaluation.
    • Application and System Assessments, planning execution and management.
    • System requirements planning and oversight.
    • Technical development product milestone scheduling. Installation and configuration of hardware and software capabilities.
  • Required Certifications: Current Security Certification: CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, OR GCIH. Current OS Certification: Windows or Linux Variant, VMWare, MS SQL, Active Directory, HBSS, ACAS, SPLUNK, Server+, or similar.
