Description

SAIC is actively seeking an experienced Program Integration and Schedule Analyst to join our team in Huntsville, AL. This position requires that the candidate have an active Secret Security Clearance to be considered.
Performs Program Integration and Schedule Analyst activities in support of the Missile Defense Agency Engineering Directorate, Ground Based Mid-course Defense (GMD) System program integration and scheduling support.

• Conduct schedule analysis to ensure critical path items are tracked and assess impacts for schedule slips.
• Develop schedule metrics to measure status/quality of Schedule.
• Provide technical leadership for assessment, evaluation, and feasibility to accomplish requirements of the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) Master Integration Plan, Operational Capability Fielding Plan, Integrated Master Test Plan, and BMDS Specification.
• Identify potential conflicts, alternative resolutions, and impacts to cost, technical, and schedule.
• Identify integration risks and recommend Course of Actions (CoAs).
• Collaborate and interface with internal and external stakeholders to manage multiple schedules to determine critical paths, identify potential conflicts & disconnects, and provide program risk’s qualitative and quantitative assessments, evaluations, tracking, mitigations, and reporting.
• Present and audit facts for briefings, reports, and information papers requested by Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Senior Leadership and Congress.
• Prepare and present GMD Senior Management on subjects related to BMDS capability delivery and fielded asset management briefings for the MDA Boards
• Provide status, detailed planning, and analysis for thorough, concise briefings on GMD’s Systems Requirement Reviews, Preliminary Design Reviews, and Critical Design Reviews to Senior Leaders

Qualifications

  • This position requires a BS in Engineering, Science, Mathematics or related technical degree and 9+ years of related experience (or equivalent combination).

  • 5+ years Program Integration/System Scheduling or related experience in defense industry

  • Critical Computer Skills:  Microsoft Project Server, Milestone Professional, PowerPoint, Open Plan Projects, Word, Excel Oracle’s Primavera  

  • Active Secret Security Clearance


Desired Qualifications

 
  • Experience with Department of Defense programs

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to coordinate technical and programmatic status with Senior MDA/GMD Leadership

  • Capability to develop technical documents supporting GMD Scheduling
