Description

SAIC has an immediate opening on an exciting program in Chantilly for a Splunk Engineer. The engineer will provide Splunk support to the engineering and security teams to meet the organizational requirements.  You should be proficient with analyzing anomalies and trends, and building dashboards highlighting the key trends of data.  You will also interact with end users, gather requirements, assist with troubleshooting, and create dashboards for the end user.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant technical/engineering experience
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with Splunk, creating reports, analyzing data, and dashboard creation
  • Experience monitoring the health of the network and assisting with troubleshooting
  • Experience with network incident detection and response activities to detect, correlate, identify, and characterize anomalous activities
  • Experience with Linux and creating/maintaining Splunk configuration files and apps
  • Current TS/SCI & Poly
