Description

SAIC is seeking a motivated technical writer to join our team of diverse Global Positioning System (GPS) Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) experts.  The GPS SE&I Team provides engineering, technical analysis and subject matter expertise (SME) support to the GPS program supporting the Space and Missile Center. As a member of our cybersecurity team, you’ll work in a high-paced environment with Air Force personnel and system developers to ensure GPS remains the gold standard for position, navigation and timing. 

 
Duties Include:
  • Support the GPS Enterprise by researching technical topics and ensuring these topics are written accurately and provide a complete understanding  of the technical issues.
  • Review and edit documents to ensure they comply with Department of Defense (DoD) and Air Force (AF) requirements
  • As the Point of Contact for package preparation and coordination, you will be responsible for ensuring GPS Cybersecurity Reports are error-free both technically and grammatically prior to being submitted to the Government
  • Conduct informational analysis on technical material to help identify trends and improve decision-making processes
  • Apply technical writing knowledge to interpret and advise on process requirements 


Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Active Interim Top Secret Clearance
  • 2+ years supporting DoD Organizations
  • 6+ months reviewing and editing Government documents
  • 6+ months coordinating and compiling reports for Government officials
