SAIC has a requirement for a mid-level Systems Engineer to support the U.S. Army’s Aviation initiatives. The successful candidates will work in an agile environment incorporating Model Based Engineering (MBE) processes for the development of a modular open system architecture (MOSA).
Primary responsibilities include:
Support the development of airworthiness documentation such as integration plans, procedures and scenarios used in the conduct of software and hardware system integration testing, and perform analysis of integration results to assess system impacts.
Develop and maintain models using modeling languages such as Unified Modeling Language (UML), Systems Modeling Language (SysML), and Unified Profile for DoDAF/MODAF (UPDM)
Perform trade studies.
Evaluate airworthiness criteria.
Develop automated test procedures for system software, hardware, and other segments and system components.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors degree and 5+ years experience; years of experience can be used in lieu of degree.
Must be able to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Interim Secret security clearance
Ability to develop and maintain models using modeling languages such as Unified Modeling Language (UML), Systems Modeling Language (SysML), and Unified Profile for DoDAF/MODAF (UPDM).
Ability to work in a C++ environment using interactive techniques through Rhapsody.
Ability to define, analyze, develop, and model requirements.
