Description

SAIC has several contingent opportunities available supporting The US Navy Ready Relevant Learning (RRL) Content Conversion project, a large Government program.

 

This effort will employ innovative instructional design and assessment strategies in conjunction with new and modernized technology. The goal of RRL is to provide the right training at the right time in the right way to improve the transfer of training to the work environment. RRL is a holistic approach to reimagining how the Navy trains its Sailors. It will transform the Navy’s current training model to deliver training across the continuum of a career using modern learning techniques that improve comprehension and retention of knowledge.

 

These positons are contingent upon contract award and can be located in Cookeville, TN, Virginia Beach, VA, Pensacola, FL, or DC Metro Area.

  

The Instructional System Designer prepares training curricula utilizing development applications to be delivered via computer based training, eLearning environments and learning management systems. Conducts training analysis, designs and develops training curricula, designs and develop multimedia/web storyboards and training, and measures and evaluates effectiveness of training.  KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Frequent use and application of industry practices, techniques, and standards.  General application of concepts and principles. Receives assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet outlined objectives. 

 

Participates in the development of solutions to a variety of problems moderate in scope and complexity. Often refers to policies, procedures and practices for guidance.

Qualifications

BASIC EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution and three (3) years or more of related experienced.


Position requires ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance. Preference will be given to individuals with active current clearance.


US Citizenship required.
