The Windows End User Administrator (EUA) team provides support, configuration and administration of DHCP, file and print servers and Active Directory standard and elevated user accounts for the Department of Interior (DOI).

  • Manage and create DHCP scopes and reservations for laptops/workstations and printers.
  • Configure and maintain print queues and permissions for print servers.
  • Responsible for standard user provisioning/de-provisioning and management in active directory including, cross Domain user access, security group management for directory file share access, VPN access and initial email account attribute setup.
  • Monitors server performance and availability.
  • Address operational systems issues including file and share permissions, user accounts and installing applications.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves technical problems and provides on-call support.  Performs research for problems, defines solutions, performs research for problems, defines solutions, and coordinates implementation of solution with staff and customers.
  • Collaborates with team members to solve problems.
  • Assists security staff in conducting, internal system reviews and audits in accordance with defined policy/procedures to ensure system/component settings remain in order as specified by security guidelines.
  • Provide applicable document as resolution of security findings.
  • Manages and responds to IT requests via Trouble Ticket System in accordance with customer Service Level Agreements requirements.
  • Manages and maintains IT system changes via Change Request System in accordance with Change Management Policy and Procedures.
  • Is available for participation in on-call schedule for technical out of hours support.  The individual on-call is available during off-hours to resolve priority problems according to published procedures.


Required Experience & Education

  • High School & up to 2 years of related experience; Bachelors degree preferred.

  • Experience with Microsoft Windows 2012, 2016, 2019

  • Experience with Active Directory

  • Experience with DHCP/DNS
