Description

A successful candidate will serve as the VoIP/ Telephone Service Manager on the NASA NICS contract.  Service Manager (SM)
 
Responsibilities:  
  • Acting as owner and authoritative voice for the VoIP / Telephone service line.
  • The Service Manager will be the single interface to NASA Service Element Manager (SEM) as well as the centralized POC for vendor relations for the service. 
  • The SM will be responsible for leading the effort in conjunction with the NASA SEM to create and maintain a Corporate Target Architecture (CTA) for the service as well as an Approved Parts List (APL). 
  • The SM will also be responsible for ensuring designs across the NICS contract are compliant with the CTA and APL.
  • The SM will be responsible for leading the transformation to the Enterprise Service Model, compliance with CP tenants and Service Level Agreements.
  • The SM will also be responsible for the Corporate Architecture Planning Process for the service which will provide inputs for Gap analysis, budget investment packages, MSC issue papers and budgetary spend plans.
 
 
Qualifications:
  • Experience with VoIP systems, SIP circuits as well as working knowledge of carrier networks and diversity and redundancy required to meet specific customer service level agreements.
  • Cisco certifications highly desired  
  • Experience with financial planning and managing to a planned budget  
 
 

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.
