Candidate will function as an integral member of a team of Government, military, and contractor personnel that provide program, engineering, and technical support to Project Management Office, Aircraft Survivability Equipment (PMO ASE). The PMO ASE is an acquisition management organization under the Program Executive Office (PEO) Intelligence Electronic Warfare and Sensors (IEW&S).
The team provides acquisition management support, program research, engineering, logistics, and technical support for aircraft survivability equipment.
The candidate will work PMO ASE supporting Product Offices with Configuration Control Boards, Configuration Identification, Configuration Control, Configuration Status Accounting, Configuration Verification and Audit.
Provides overall hardware change and configuration management support to PMO ASE.
Participates in configuration control boards, physical configuration audits and/or first article inspections, functional qualification tests, and allocated baseline configuration audits.
Supports traceability & accountability of version control throughout the lifecycle of hardware baseline development, qualification, deployment, and, historical records.Member of the weekly PMO ASE Integrated Product Team (IPT).
Provides expertise to Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) reviews, Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs), and Functional Qualification Tests (FQTs). Timely dispositions of FQT CDRLs (Request for Deviations and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs). Coordinates ASE Technical Division Functional Leads (i.e. Software Eng., Systems Engineering, Test, Aircraft Integration, Logistics) review of documents and request for hardware. Participates in PMO ASE “Process and Procedure Working Group”. Assist in writing and reviewing Statement of Work (SOW) for PMO-ASE Products.
Recommend approval of Contract Deliverables Requirements List (CDRL’s)Review and recommend changes to Contracts on Physical Configuration Audits (PCA’s)Review and recommend changes to Contracts on Functional Configuration Audits (FCA’s)Review and recommend changes to Contracts on First Article Inspections (FAI’s)Recommend approval of all modification made to aircraft including Process and recommend approval/disapproval for Supplier.
Request for Material Reviews (SRMR), Request for Variances (RFV), Supplier Variation Reports (SVR), Engineering Change Notices (ECN), Configuration Status Accounting Reports (CSAR), waivers and maintain copies of Airworthiness Reports (AWR).
Maintain documents related to contacts CDRLS Technical Documents.Maintain ASE Configuration Management and SharePoint Sites to include building and maintaining libraries. Build automatic notification workflows using SharePoint designer.Review and maintain the Technical Data Packages.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's and two (2) years of experience in defense industry in related field. Experience (4+ years) may be used in lieu of degree.
Experience with DOORS database desired
Experience with Configuration Control Boards, Configuration Identification, Configuration Control, Configuration Status Accounting, Configuration Verification and Audit.
