SAIC is seeking an Cloud Application Technician familiar with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to support a dynamic program in Chantilly, VA for our Space Systems Sector to interface directly with Customer Programs and application owners.

Due to our continued growth we are seeking to add a Cloud Application Technician to our team. Your future duties and responsibilities encompass the engineering of business and technical solutions in support of the Intelligence Community Infrastructure Service Provider leveraging AWS.
The Cloud Application Technician delivers solutions devised by subject matter experts and engineers, yielding Cloud Solution Offerings for Intelligence Community Customers.
This position performs Echelon 2, TIER 2, IT support such as troubleshooting; problem resolution; and improvements to network performance.
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and two (2) years or more experience; Masters and 0 years related experience.
Associates Degree in a related technical discipline; or the equivalent combination of education; technical certifications or training; or work experience.
Must possess appropriate current DoD Information Assurance (IA) Certification to be considered for employment; either CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+ CE, Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), OR CCNA-Security. CompTIA Security+ CE is the preferred certification. If the candidate doesn’t possess the appropriate DoD IA Certification, the candidate would be required to attain certification within six months of start date.
As part of your role/function on the program, you will be granted privileged user access. Privileged Users are subject to greater scrutiny as a direct result of the elevated network privileges granted to them. Being entrusted with these critical duties, you will be subject to additional IT system monitoring, and supervisory evaluation to ensure continuous adherence to Privileged User processes and procedures. Privileged Users are subject to a zero tolerance policy for security violations.
