Description

SAIC is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our Team!  In this role, the successful candidate will collaborate with engineering laboratory and production functions to ensure quality standards are in place.

Job Duties include:
  • Develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality evaluation and control systems and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product.
  • Devises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.
  • Designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment; conducts quality assurance tests; and performs statistical analysis to assess control and manage risks of product quality and determine the responsibility for products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.
  • Audits quality systems for development acceptance criteria (parameters based on product result). May undertake root cause analysis of incidents requiring corrective action.
  • Ensures that corrective measures and deviation meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements. May specialize in the areas of design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation and reliability, inventory control and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality.
  • May be certified in lean and six-sigma quality methodologies and utilize quality tools to help drive continuous improvement. Liaise primarily with internal company contacts, although some infrequent inter-organizational and outside customer contacts on routine matters.

Qualifications

Education, Clearance and Experience Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems management, mathematics, physics, operations research, statistics, or engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • An Active DoD SECRET security clearance.
  • Three (3) years of experience in quality control and quality assurance support for documentation that supports C4ISR integration efforts.
  • Three (3) years of experience with establishing criteria, performing technical reviews, identifying discrepancies, following up on corrective actions and preparing documents for final approval process.
