JOB DESCRIPTION: Translates the clients business requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for very large complex solutions and integrating architecture. May include analysis of transition planning, intelligence information requirements, and may develop architecture baselines. Assists with and leads development of integration, migration plans/schedules. Acts as an advocate for the client as the ultimate authority on the architecture designed to address client business problems. Often project-based, sometimes working at customer sites, and can oversee production of integrated systems. May support ISR and C4ISR programs/clients/systems. Supports business process improvements or systems analysis for missions, systems, and fiscal requirements. Frequent use and application of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques. Receives assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet outlined objectives. Work is reviewed by supervisor/lead to measure meeting objectives. Directs established guidelines, procedures and policies. PROBLEM COMPLEXITY: Provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity where analysis of situations or data requires a review of the variety of factors. FREEDOM TO ACT: Works under general direction on routine work. May receive detailed instructions on new projects or assignments. Follows established procedures. Work is reviewed for soundness of technical judgment, overall adequacy and accuracy. Exercises judgement within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. IMPACT: Contributes to completion of milestones associated with specific projects. Failure to achieve results or erroneous decisions or recommendations may cause delays in program schedules and may result in allocation of additional resources. LIAISON: Primarily internal company contacts. Infrequent inter-organizational and outside customer contacts on routine matters.

This is work within the multi-Ievel Requirements Specialist occupational specialty. Positions at this level provide in-depth requirement analysis, drafting and receiving approval for new requirements and may include final technical review and validation of requirements. Work includes overseeing requirements tracking, and collaborating with team, customers and service providers to identify requirements and changes that will fulfill the customer's need. These positions will stay abreast of new opportunities to implement customer-required changes.
Depending upon assignment, may perform first-line supervisory duties.
