Join SAIC's team that supports the Operations, Maintenance, and Sustainment (OM&S) of North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) Cheyenne Mountain Complex (NCMC) – Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (NCMC-ITW/AA) And Space Support Contract II (NISSC II). This position is contingent upon award of contract.
The NISSC II effort establishes requirements for OM&S that support classified communications and processing for Command and Control (C2) capability in organizational work centers at Cheyenne Mountain Air Force Station (CMAFS), Peterson Air Force Base (PAFB), Colorado. The NISSC II OM&S TO also establish requirements for operations and maintenance support for the CMAFS Information Systems Infrastructure. Additionally, this contract will be leveraging existing testing testbeds and proposed DevSecOps agile software development lab to facilitate innovation in the mission areas.
SAIC is seeking a Senior Software
Engineer with Agile DevSecOps experience to support the Nationally-critical NISSC
II mission. As a Software Engineer /
Software Developer you will be maturing existing capabilities and helping
develop new agile lab environment capabilities, at the customer sites and at
the Catalyst Campus Innovation Center in Colorado Springs, to more rapidly
implement new NISSC II mission technologies. You will be using a wide variety of
cutting-edge technologies to help shape the software development strategy for
the organization by developing tools, techniques, and processes.
Collaborating within Agile Scrum teams as a key contributor responsible for the design, test and implementation of advanced software capabilities
Developing and performing automated builds, testing, and deployments
Developing high quality technical documentation, as needed, including user guides, test plans, and contract deliverable items and supporting product training
Supporting risk assessments and developing risk mitigation countermeasures.
Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
BS Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience.
Directly relevant software development experience, ideally in an agile development environment
Solid understanding and experience with Windows and/or Linux operating systems
Ability to create well-modularized, maintainable software and willing to follow group coding standards and design
Possesses or quickly develop a comprehensive understanding of Government Information Security policies, regulations, and guidelines
Ability to analyze, interpret and apply computer science procedures in a variety of situations and recommend effective solutions.
Possess experience in one or more of the below areas.
Experience and/or familiarity with DevOps, DevSecOps, Continuous Development/Continuous Integration concepts, and related automated test tools
Experience and/or familiarity with one of more of the following database technologies: SQL, Oracle, MySQL, JBDC, NOSQL, etc.
Experience with cloud development and technologies
Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) knowledge and experience.
Experience with current ITW/AA maintained systems consisting.
Experience interfacing with NISSC operations or scheduling of specific phases of projects or contracts.
Possess a DoD 8570 IAT II certification such as CompTlA Security+, Security+CE and certifications or experience related to Agile development and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) such as Scrum Master, Product Owner, SAFe Agile (SA), SAFe Practitioner (SP) or SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) or equivalent.
