Join SAIC's team that supports the Operations, Maintenance, and Sustainment (OM&S) of North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) Cheyenne Mountain Complex (NCMC) – Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (NCMC-ITW/AA) And Space Support Contract II (NISSC II). This position is contingent upon award of contract.
The NISSC II effort establishes requirements for OM&S that support classified communications and processing for Command and Control (C2) capability in organizational work centers at Cheyenne Mountain Air Force Station (CMAFS), Peterson Air Force Base (PAFB), Colorado. The NISSC II OM&S TO also establish requirements for operations and maintenance support for the CMAFS Information Systems Infrastructure.
Performs system fault analysis, life cycle maintenance and integrated product support (IPS) of major systems. Controls the efficient flow of goods, services and information between point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements. May also plan, schedule and manage the efficient movement of material from receiving or the warehouse to production. Develops raw material requirements and scheduling requirements from engineering specifications and production schedules and plans and manages material movement with purchasing, warehouse, and production. Ensures the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistic processes. Logistics functions encompass maintenance, supply, transportation and logistics plans. Inherently included as logistics tasks are program formulation, policy planning, coordination, inspection, integrated logistics processes, joint planning logistics, acquisition and wholesale logistics, product support, asset visibility, material management and supervision.
Specific duties include but are not limited to:
Help manage property management, supply disciplines, and logistical support processes and personnel who support Cheyenne Mountain Air Force Station (CMAFS).
Manage or support supply operations, warehouse operations, and inventory control.
Effectively communicate, facilitating, and executing operational tasks on behalf of mission leadership.
Be able to work in a DoD mission-oriented environment centered on mission availability and quick response to customer reported issues.
Address/provide status to DoD military and civilian personnel, to document problems, and to communicate with NISSC II program representatives.
Work in a high visibility environment on 24X7 mission availability.
Quickly and efficiently respond to customer direction and requests.
Engage teams and individuals in other departments of the organization.
Support other areas/work centers on the NISSC II contract as required.
TS/SCI clearance required
Proven ability to operate, learn or understand Air Force Equipment Control and Inventory operations.
Able to determine and develop an approach to solutions within established guidance.
Bachelors and three (3) years or more of related experience; Masters and one year of related experience
Experience with warehouse and inventory management
Experience with supply chain management
Experience with logistics and distribution skills
Experience with transportation management
Experience with process improvement techniques and practices
Experience with Government supply and logistic systems
Possess 5 or more years of experience working in the DoD Supply System.
