The Project Lead/PMO Manager will report directly to the Program Executive and will be responsible for leading and managing interactions between the customer Management team and its departments and agencies. The Project Lead/PMO Manager will lead new projects, and have a roster of Project Managers reporting to him/her.  

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Managing new projects; developing and managing an integrated master schedule (IMS)

  • Management of reports and analytics

  • Coordinating employee training and certification

  • Representing SAIC in all customer departmental and agency matters related to IT and maintaining an understanding of each group’s mission, goals, and key business processes

  • Interfacing directly with the customer and third-party providers to develop project requirements for all departments and agencies

  • Resolving end-user questions and concerns in a structured manner for all new processes, procedures, and changes

  • Interfacing with and reporting status to the SAIC Program Executive and the customer IT PMO regarding ongoing projects and related issues

  • Participating in governance meetings

  • Administering client satisfaction surveys and leading follow-up action plans to assess the results and implement recommended changes

  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal communications and complex problem solving Advanced written and verbal communications skills including the ability to develop presentations and present to senior management



  • Bachelors and ten (10) years or more of related experience; Masters and eight (8) years or more experience; PhD or JD and two (2) years or more experience.
  • Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
  • Proven ability to understand a customer's needs
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Team player
  • Good time-management skills
  • Possess strong communication, interpersonal skills as well as outstanding organizational skill
  • Experience working in cross- functional, multi-location teams
  • Must be a US Citizen and have ability to pass customer background check

Desired Qualifications

    • Current PMP certification
    • ITIL® Foundation Level or higher Certification
