SAIC is seeking a qualified Program/Project Manager to manage an
information technology contract. Besides managing the contract, the selected
individual will be responsible for managing a technical team responsible for
all application development, content management, and SharePoint for the client.
The selected individual must be able to gather business
requirements from stakeholders and translate those requirements into technical
requirements for the team. In addition, you must be able to plan and articulate
a vision of what information technology advances can provide the client.
Translates the client’s
projects and priorities into tasks and deliverables for the other members
of the contract team.
directs the daily activities of the team of software developers. Evaluates
employee performance, sets expectations and goals for team and individual
staff members, recruits, disciplines and trains staff.
independent judgment and discretion in overall project management by
prioritizing, planning and tracking project progress.
requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops,
surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios,
business analysis, and task and workflow analysis.
communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to
analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the
following artifacts as needed: (Functional requirements (Business
Requirements Document), iii. Use Cases, GUI, Screen and Interface designs)
evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts,
decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level
information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from
the underlying true needs.

Served as a project/program
manager on a similar sized effort or larger and at lease once for a
