Job Summary

  • Work closely with Project Manager to perform both field supervision and office technical works

  • Independently conduct field works for environmental site assessments / subsurface investigations at industrial and petroleum facilities

  • Evaluate environmental datasets and prepare technical reports based on the results of field sampling activities

  • Prepare and execute the project plans with consideration of scope, deliverables, budget, schedule and SH&E

  • Prepare and perform financial management for the projects by overseeing the budget, scope, schedule and reviews with the P&L manager

  • Enforce ethics and compliance policy including Third Party payment, Sub-consultancy engagement process and Gift and Entertainment policy

Minimum Requirements

  • BSc, BEng or MSc degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, and Civil / Chemical / Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines

  • Possession of or evidence of working towards recognized professional qualification(s) / affiliation(s) (e.g. HKIQEP)

  • At least 2 years of experience demonstrating a successful track record in a relevant field

  • Capable of scoping requirements for investigation to meet government and or client objectives, procurement of subcontract services and site supervision of technical tasks within agreed schedule and budget

  • Sound computer skills (Microsoft Office, CAD etc) and with a willingness to master specific client and AECOM specific systems

  • Effective communicator with excellent presentation and technical writing skills

  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese

  • Able to work independently and within a team environment
