Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Administrative Assistant for employment in the Los Angeles, CA office.

The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provides administrative support to one or more managers within a group, office or business unit including some of or all of the following: prepares or proofs correspondence, forms, spreadsheets, or documents, schedules meetings, makes travel arrangements, and/or maintains inventory of office supplies.

  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

  • Uses Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other programs to accomplish work.

  • Works under general supervision.

Minimum Requirements

HS + 2 YORE

Preferred Qualifications

  • AA/AS (US) + 2 YORE or Diploma/Certificate (Canada) + 2 YORE or HS/GED + 4 YORE

  • Extensive experience in a corporate environment with a strong customer service focus (desirable)

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure

  • Experience in proof reading and formatting documents to company standards

  • Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office suite

  • Strong Communication skills both written and verbal
