AECOM is currently seeking a Project Controls & Planning Manager Construction Services to be involved in construction projects within various sectors mainly focussing on industrial projects.
Provide project controls and planning services for the project
Monitor and provide recommendations related to all Sub-Contract, Invoices and Progress Claim and assisting with Final Accounts.
Identify and track changes, actual and potential, to the project scope, ensuring estimates of cost changes and schedule impact are given visibility with the client and project management team.
Prepare Budget Reports.
Review of Proposals, Comparisons and Contract Drafts prior to Sub-Contract award.
Responsible for development of the Master Schedule for the project and also specific detailed schedules to include timetable and progress of construction.
Monitor and review contractor construction schedules, submittals, material delivery, procurement logs and daily follow-up in addition to the necessary productivity measurement studies and associated corrective measures.
Prepare 4 week look ahead, 'what-if' scenarios and Critical Path Analysis.
Measurement of General Contractor Works and reporting actual progress of the work versus planned work.
Ensure that the programme effect of all Change Orders is identified as required.
Ensure there is a programme in place to manage the process of handover of the completed project(s) to the operator(s), and Client(s) as may be required.
Minimal 5 years of project management, project control and planning experience within related construction projects
Strong communication skills
Analytical and problem solving skills
Uncompromising standards of safety
Fluent in English and French
Full Driving Licence and the flexibility to travel, as needed
