Job Summary

The Philadelphia office of AECOM is seeking a Civil or Site Engineer with experience in Aviation or site design. Construction experience a plus. Work for this position centers around design and construction of airside civil projects including runway, taxiway, apron, and site designs.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Senior technical resource may serve as technical advisor for team

  • Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.

  • Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost effective work by others.

  • Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.

  • Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.

  • Uses expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PS&E package.

  • Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings.

  • Prepares technical specification sections.

  • Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.

  • Coordinates all phases of design on mid-sized projects;

  • Prepare or oversee preparation of design deliverables;

  • Senior technical resource and may serve as technical advisor for team;

  • Interact with a multi-disciplinary team comprised of structural, geotechnical, mechanical, electrical, and civil engineers as well as architects;

  • Client interface;

  • Candidate shall use computer software as a tool including AutoCAD Civil 3D and MS Office.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 6 plus years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 8 plus years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
