Title:

Reliability Centered Maintenance Analyst

Perform Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) analyses as required with assistance and effectively using NAVAIR software to document RCM analyses, drafting reports, papers, and presentations on results of RCM analyses, performing basic statistical and cost analyses, participating in RCM system expert team meetings and interviews.

Basic Qualifications:

A Bachelor's Degree with 0-2 years’ experience or equivalent professional work experience. In lieu of a degree, (6) years of equivalent professional work related experience is required.

Hands-on maintenance experience in Navy aircraft, aircraft systems, ground support equipment, trend analysis or reliability analysis. P-8A aircraft systems knowledge a plus. Candidate must have a thorough knowledge of Naval Aviation Maintenance Planning, PMIC’s, MRC decks, CNAF 4790.2, aircraft maintenance plans, aircraft maintenance and systems. The applicant will possess skillsets to perform Failure Mode, Effects & Criticality Analysis (FMECA), RCM studies, data collection, and technical manual review/development.

Candidates will need to demonstrate the ability to collect, sort and analyze various qualitative and quantitative data using Naval Aviation Logistics Data Analysis / Decision Knowledge Programming for Logistics Analysis and Technical Evaluation (NALDA/DECKPLATE), Joint Directives Reporting System (JDRS), and Naval Air Technical Data and Engineering Service Command (NATEC) systems. Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) training is a plus, but is not required.

Examples of qualifying specialized experience include:

  • Strong interpersonal skills in a team-based development environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient in PC use with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Must possess a general working knowledge of how the Navy Supply System works.
  • Analyzing equipment and forecasting spare parts requirements.
  • Must perform equipment analyses and understand the effects of failures and other impacts to system performance on system functions at all hardware levels (system, subsystem, and component) in complex systems.
  • Reading and interpreting engineering change orders, equipment requisitions, shop orders, and work orders
  • Candidate must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance and Common Access Card (CAC).
