Position Summary
SAIC is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst to join our team providing Security Operations Services for a major state & local government customer located in Texas. This position reports to our Technical Director and is a member of the on-site team providing cybersecurity services in a multi-vendor environment. Working with fellow team members, the Sr. Business Analyst will be responsible for a wide variety of activities supporting requirements definition and analysis, documentation development and maintenance, and quality assessment. Job responsibilities include:
  • Working with subject matter experts, develop process, procedure and policy documentation
  • Ensure documentation is compliant with documented standards, templates 
  • Maintain and update documentation on a recurring basis
  • Make recommendations for quality assessment and improvement
  • Working with stakeholders and subject matter experts, capture technical requirements, document requirements, supporting test plans, and requirements traceability and testing in final products
  • Support unit, user, regression and other testing of deliverables and services
  • Plan and coordinate logistics, working groups and other teams required to manage requirements, documentation and to support quality processes
  • Support for developing and maintaining compliance tracking checklists, matrixes and reports
  • Perform gap analysis
  • Support audit activities including coordination, documentation and follow up of findings
  • Produce scheduled and ad-hoc reports
  • Develop reports, dashboards and other outputs to monitor services and performance 
  • Develop reports, recurring deliverables and presentations for management and executive stakeholders

Qualifications

Experience, Education and Certification
Required:
  • Experience with requirements capture, definition, documentation and management in an IT environment
  • Experience with documentation of policy, procedures and supporting documentation (e.g. job aids, knowledge articles, how-to’s, etc..)
  • Work in a team environment
  • Experience with management of security devices including firewalls, IDS/IPS
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline and five (5) years related experience; OR, Master’s Degree and three (3) years of experience in a related discipline (e.g. Information Security).
  • Experience with reporting and reporting tools
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office including Word and PowerPoint

Desired Qualifications

 
Preferred:
  • Experience with ITIL, ITIL certification
  • Experience in a cybersecurity environment is a plus
  • Project experience is a plus
  • PMI certifications including PMP
  • Experience in a multi-vendor environment
