Job Summary
AECOM has an immediate need for a seasoned Project Hydrogeologist in our Southfield, MI office. Responsibilities include but aren't limited to:
Undertakes non-routine, more complex projects.
Performs Independent Technical Reviews for reports in their field of expertise.
Provides advice and consultation to client on hydrogeological matters, including compliance with federal/state laws and regulations
Has full technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing and coordinating assignments and managing projects that are larger in scope and more complex than.
Plans, schedules, conducts or coordinates detailed phases of the scientific work in a large/complex scope project.
Regularly develops and evaluates project plans and criteria for a variety of projects and activities to be carried out by others.
Identifies potential clients and work.
Secures and manages clients and contracts.
Assists Business Line Managers in the development of new business, marketing to potential and existing clients.
Conceives, plans and conducts consultation in areas of considerable scope and complexity.
Mentors junior-level staff.
May manage employees and supervise staff to complete assignments and takes necessary corrective actions to improve technical, safety and business concerns
Minimum Requirements
Preferred Qualifications
MS in Geology or Hydrogeology + 12 Years of Relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Registered Professional Geologist
