Duties include but are not limited to:
Minimum Education and experience: Bachelor’s degree and/or 4 years of intelligence analyst experience, at a minimum.
Preferred Education and Experience: Requires Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and five to seven years of related experience
Conduct research and analysis of suspicious activity reporting (SAR) from all sources that may reveal force protection and foreign terrorist threats to the U.S. Army and the Department of Defense worldwide.
Analyze SAR, OSINT, HUMINT, SIGINT and IMINT reporting from a wide variety of sources provided by the Government to identify current and emerging force protection threats, ascertain the degree and immediacy of those threats, and make reasoned and well-founded judgments concerning the future evolution of the threats; with the specific intent of providing fusion of intelligence/counterintelligence and law enforcement information.
Maintain collaborative contact with counterparts in the counterintelligence community and the law enforcement community concerning ongoing analytic efforts and findings to ensure that all threats to the Army and DoD are identified and addressed.
Such contacts shall include, at a minimum, the Army Threat Integration Center (ARTIC), the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command (USACID), local/state/federal law enforcement, and the U.S intelligence community.
Analysts assigned to CI/LE analysis shall be assigned to one of the six FEMA regions of the continental United States.
Perform research, analysis and production on suspicious activity reporting and force protection threats in the assigned FEMA region
Skills and Understanding: Law enforcement background or Counter Intelligence background; Army investigations; MOS Counterintelligence 35L, 351L, 35E; Counterintelligence Special Agent Course (CISAC)
