Title:

Senior Systems Integration Engineer

KBR is currently seeking an experienced Senior Systems Integration Engineer for the Joint Technical Data Integration (JTDI). The Integration Engineer must be customer focused in support of our warfighter mission and have a broad technical knowledge of Windows Server 2016 Hyper-V, VMware vSphere ESXi, Microsoft Windows Server 2012/2016 Operating System (OS), IIS, Java and .NET based applications, local area networks (LANS), and Wide Area Networks (WANs) with knowledge of TCP/IP infrastructure. The Integration Engineer will be responsible for the integration, configuration, test, deployment, and sustainment of virtual and cloud based JTDI systems. The Integration Engineer will provide research, analysis, integration, and system design support for NFSA deployed systems to include hardware, software, and documentation updates on existing and future systems.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Daily status and reporting of JTDI integration projects to contractor and government IPT lead
  • Participate in technical interchange meetings (TIMs) to provide technical input and recommendations to projects, schedule, and problem resolution
  • Work with Project lead on technical resources required for deployment and integration projects
  • Provide inputs to NFSA contractor Project lead and team for Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) submission
  • Provide feedback and make recommendations for future upgrades and configuration changes
  • Maintain Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) baseline for production instances of Java, .NET, and IIS
  • Provide technical guidance and direction to assist team members with problems reported for JTDI systems
  • Work with Splunk/AStats administrators to improve system health monitoring capabilities for JTDI systems
  • Provide system research and analysis to improve sustainment design footprint and improve system performance to meet or exceed war fighter needs
  • Leverage Service Desk ticketing system track and document completed tasks
  • Support IA team Plan of Action and Milestone (POA&M) requests and response
  • Update existing and develop new documentation, engineering drawings, and data-flow diagrams using common tools such as VISIO and Microsoft Word

System Administrator Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Sciences, Technology, degree and/or 8 to 10 years relevant experience
  • Hypervisor technologies to include VMware vSphere ESXi and Microsoft Server 2016 Hyper-V
  • Specific experience with Microsoft Operating Systems 2012 R2 and 2016
  • Specific experience with IIS 7.5 or greater
  • Experience with a variety of LAN switches and TCP/IP networking
  • Current Security + certification
  • Current Operating System (OS) certification
  • Able to obtain a Secret clearance with SSBI or Top Secret Clearance (preferred
