Job Summary

AECOM are currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor who is chartered or coming up to being chartered to be based in our newly refurbished Exeter office. You will be part of a team providing comprehensive, accurate and value driven quantity surveying services on our building projects as part of a wider multidisciplinary office. You will have a consultancy background and be RICS qualified or be working towards chartership.

This is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking for progression and security in the Devon and South West region to join AECOM and professionally develop in a smaller, friendly office environment but with the backing and projects of a much larger and established consultancy.

Minimum Requirements

  • Degree Qualified – BSc or MSc – in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management.

  • Proven experience in a consulting environment providing the full spectrum of CM services including Cost Planning, Procurement, Contract Administration, Cost Reporting and Final Account resolution.

  • Understanding of JCT and NEC forms of contract.

  • Understanding of a variety of project types/sizes/sectors.

  • Ability to manage relationships effectively.

  • Supporter of social and CSR activities, promoting a positive and enjoyable workplace.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professionally Qualified (RICS) or working towards it.

  • Full clean UK driving license, and a willingness to travel.
