F-22 Radar Engineer

ABOUT THIS POSITION

KBR is seeking an experienced Radar Engineer to provide system engineering support for all F-22 radar functions/systems. The successful candidate will utilize their expertise to provide overall technical oversight and support strategic technical planning for all radar systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate the requirements, design, and integration of mission systems avionics radar hardware and software products
  • Assist in roadmap design trades and risk/performance assessments for radar against the Block Plan. The Contractor shall lead analytical support for trade studies while defining balanced and reasonable objectives on performance and requirements
  • Direct/manage interface and coordination with the F-22 Government radar team, the Weapon System Prime Contractor/Subcontractor teams, and all other entities. The Contractor shall coordinate across IPTs to perform engineering assessments and technical evaluations, and translate F-22 operational capabilities into engineering solutions
  • Support operational evaluations and engineering analysis of the mission systems architecture radar capabilities
  • Evaluate the design of electronic circuits and components for use in fields such as telecommunications, aerospace guidance and propulsion control, acoustics, or instruments and controls
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS / BA in Engineering related field (e.g., electrical, mechanical, aerospace, etc.) is required with at least 10+ years of directly related experience. MS/MA in Engineering is highly desired

CLEARANCE : Secret with ability to obtain SAP clearance
