Job Summary

The senior construction manager will lead an integrated consultant/owner team in the management and administration of the South Coast Rail commuter rail extension construction project with total construction in excess of $500 Min construction value, in Bridgewater, MA.

The work involves management and coordination of several large General Contractor packages and coordination with the Engineer of Record and the Owner agency staff.

Specific CM responsibilities include construction quality assurance, safety oversight, monitoring of environmental compliance, project scheduling and cost management, change order and claims evaluation and management, coordination among the General Contractors and various stakeholders including railroad force accounts, utility companies, local and municipal departments, and coordination of project testing, commissioning and railroad service activation in conjunction with the operating railroads and the responsible contractors.

The senior construction manager will also be responsible to provide various progress briefings to Owner executives and Boards, as well as represent the construction project in presentations to local and municipal officials.

Minimum Requirements

  • 20 years experience in program and construction management including specific experience with rail transit construction programs greater than $100 Million in value

  • Bachelors Degree in Construction Management or Engineering

  • Experience with commuter rail construction and operations
