The Network Engineer is responsible for installing, configuring, monitoring and maintaining network devices (switches, routers) of data and communications networks as part of the Service Restoral Team. The candidate will work with Shift Manager, Tier I/II Service Desk Technicians, and the cable team to resolve customer impacting network outages, network changes and activation. A typical day may include:
Monday to Friday 6:00a-2:30p or Monday – Friday 8:00a – 4:30p
Sunday to Thursday 2:00p -10:30p or Tuesday – Saturday 4:00p – 12:30a
Sunday to Thursday 10:00p – 6:30a or Tuesday – Saturday 12:00a – 8:30a
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
Computing Environment certificate highly desired.
