Responsibilities

·         Provide leadership for end to end testing functions for a release

·         Analyze testing scope and business, functional, and system requirements and design

·         Develop test approach and test scenarios. Direct team members in development of test cases and test data for cross-module complex system testing via UI and back-end services (mostly manual testing), and contribute to hands-on development of these artifacts

·         Perform peer review of test cases/test results and provides feedback to the team leads

·         Direct execution of test cases and contribute to hands-on execution

·         Take ownership of  defect management - analyze, document, host defect triage meetings, articulate to business owners and development teams, test fixes

·         Interface with customer and other contractor teams

·         Contribute to deliverables including Test Summary Report, Requirements Traceability Matrix, reports

·         Support and enhance cross-training and knowledge sharing within and across testing teams

·         Provide guidance and mentorship to junior testers on the team

Must-Haves

·         CMS Experience or Healthcare Eligibility domain experience

·         Seniority to lead end to end test activities for a release

·         Requirements analysis, including Visio workflows

·         Hands-on testing experience with developing test scenarios, test cases, test data

·         API testing, including create / edit JSON scripts

·         Defect management experience

·         Batch job testing

·         Postman, JMeter, SOAPUI, PUTTY, XML

·         JIRA, ALM

·         Issue analysis and resolution; risk management

·         Ability to proactively seek additional information, clarify assumptions and communicate effectively with the senior leadership

·         Ability to prioritize and manage workload; self-starter and a team player

·         Quick learner and adaptable to new environments and evolving program needs

·         5+ years of software development or testing experience

·         Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid project delivery

·         Excellent communication skills

Nice-to-haves

·         Experience with Federal or State Exchanges

·         MarkLogic or other NoSQL query scripting
