ManTech is seeking a motivated, career, and customer-oriented Enterprise Architect to join our team in the Owings Mills, MD area to provide support to ten development teams with a high degree of hands-on support for the EQRS Program. The EQRS Program is a high-profile, high-visibility, modernization and consolidation health management program where you can contribute innovative solutions and consult to enhance their technical capabilities, governance, optimization and continuous monitoring capabilities.

The Enterprise Architect is responsible to provide unique and competitive technologies to enhance the service catalog offerings. The position provides all the necessary technical expertise to architect and design enterprise solutions into a Federal Agency’s overarching enterprise. The position performs a critical role in understanding CMS strategic and programmatic needs, proposing effective solutions, and consistently providing high-level customer service. The position will interface regularly with program internal staff, our CMS customer, and other EQRS contractors and sub-contractors. This position winll interact and guide ManTech internal technical SMEs across multiple technical domains.

The position is also responsible for providing thought leadership for our clients while providing technical oversight for solution deployment engagements. Additionally, generate architecture diagrams, and perform hands on testing of technologies.  This position reports to the Deputy Program Director.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical engagements to assess client business and technical objectives, determine deliverables, evaluate risk and execute projects effectively.
  • Architects and designs enterprise-class security systems for a production environment
  • Align standards, frameworks and security with overall business and technology strategy
  • Identify and communicate current and emerging security threats and mitigation technologies
  • Conduct Design Workshops with multiple stakeholders
  • Design security architecture elements to mitigate threats as they emerge
  • Create solutions that balance business requirements with information and cyber security requirements
  • Identify security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend changes or enhancements
  • Build out solutions into hybrid lab environments to validate capabilities and requirements
  • Work with Service Design management to develop strategic plans for architecture, engineering, integration, and dashboard
  • Provide reporting and feedback to senior management as required
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Position Experience Requirements

  • 5 years of enterprise architecting & engineering experience with HHS or CMS
  • Experience implementing technical solutions in complex and heterogeneous environments, including the following:
  • Experience developing, configuring, and delivering COTS solutions in support of enterprise security solutions.
  • Experience with Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning
  • Experience leading integration planning activities of CMS systems
  • Experience leading multiple development teams and matrixed technical resources in accordance with approved integration plans and CMS task order terms and conditions.
    • 10 years of experience deploying technical solutions into enterprises (this may be as a developer, architect, or system security professional
    • 4 years of hands-on development with mastery of a programming language
    • 3 years of IT security operational experience, including assessment of information assurance and interoperability
    • 3 years of experience working with Security Authorization requirements, developing and enhancing the security risk posture, and analysis and reporting of IT security metrics
    • 3 year of Cloud Solutioning experience
    • Experience collaborating with Agencies to mature operational processes, reduce redundancies, and develop innovative solutions
    • Experience understanding organizational needs, proposing solutions, and managing project execution efforts designed to deliver overall program benefits for Government Agencies
    • Experience collaborating with US Government Agencies, state or local governments, or commercial entities to develop IT service program maturity in accordance with Federal IT mandates and best practices
    • Strong experience in ensuring customer satisfaction, problem resolution, and risk management on several medium to large projects
    • Experience in conducting assessments at an Enterprise by reviewing technical documentations, conducting interviews and workshops to identify gaps and developing a tailored solution is highly desired
    • Demonstrated experience in security solution design using existing and emerging technologies to achieve enterprise solutions.
    • General scripting experience
    • Effective communication skills including comfort in public speaking
