The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will work closely with the Mission Cyber and Intelligence Solutions (MCIS) recruiting team. The coordinator will be an integral partner to the recruiters in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.   He or she will coordinate all recruiting activities and initiatives in order to build efficiencies and leverage best practices.  This includes leading hiring events to attract top tier candidates.  The successful candidate must be highly-organized and build effective professional relationships, across the recruiting team, across MCIS leadership, and with candidates.   Strong communication skills, flexibility and the desire to take on new challenges every day are critical success factors in this role.  This is an amazing opportunity for someone looking to broaden their experience in the Talent Acquisition area and work in a top recruiting organization.

Responsibilities may include (but not limited to):

  • As the primary recruiting event POC, working collaboratively with the MCIS Talent Acquisition leadership in all aspects of planning for recruitment and other special events and making recommendations based on previous events best practices
  • Event planning to include; maintaining a pipeline of networking events at open houses, meetups, colleges, technical meetups, industry events, etc. Builds and maintains networking event calendar, coordinates planning and logistics of the events
  • Organizing and tracking purchases of branded items such as merchandise and maintain inventory of supplies
  • Applicant Tracking System (ATS) management to include; assisting with ticket resolution
  • Scheduling interviews and phone screens working directly with candidates and hiring managers, in some cases arranging travel for visiting candidates
  • Updating candidate records and job postings in recruiting systems
  • Tracking recruiting activities and providing candidate status in a weekly report
  • Identifying opportunities for improving candidate experience and scheduling efficiency

Basic Qualifications

  • 0-2 years of experience in an administrative role
  • Excellent PC skills including Microsoft office and Calendar management tools
  • Possess the ability to multitask, prioritize and complete a high volume of tasks and projects and work autonomously

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience working in a recruiting organization
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and articulate the brand through brand strategy and creativity
  • Growth mindset and natural ability to be flexible. Ability to shift tasks and priorities when circumstances change
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly resourceful, asks the right questions and demonstrates initiative
  • Self-Starter who understands executing with urgency, ability to comfortably work in an intensely deadline-oriented environment, strong organizational skills and can manage one’s own time
  • Innate altruistic personality and a passion for helping people find jobs
  • An interest in working in a cross-functional and fluid environment with the ability to learn quickly
  • Excellent team player with the willingness to take on additional tasks as needed or work late to get the job done

Other requirements:

  • Operate and lift up to 20 pounds of computer equipment, communicate, must be able to detect, identify, recognize, observe, assess, and ability to handle stress and work well under pressure.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard reach, and possibly stoop, or kneel.
