AECOM is looking for a Project Controls Engineer for our Paducah, KY location.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities:
Facilitate work planning sessions between all levels of staff and craft workers
Be able to communicate ideas clearly and effectively
Gain knowledge and practice in Lean systems and learn how to incorporate Lean into construction operations
Work with others to grow a “continuous improvement” culture
Responsible for managing, controlling, forecasting and reporting cost and schedule performance for a construction project.
Setup and manage project controls systems (including setup of work breakdown structure), capturing to-date progress and
Analyze to-date performance data, forecast at-completion performance data (EAC costs, hours), analyze project risks (contingency
Manage change and incorporate scope variations into schedule and cost deliverables and prepare associated reports.
Performs specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.
Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.
Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.
Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered.
